Aztec Social Class
The aztec social class really mattered. Children went to different schools in different cities because of their social classes. Men had a lot more power than a female. The aztecs believed everybody should get some education, but some was better than others. Rulers and his family were at the top. The government officials, priests, high-ranking warriors and nobles were second from the top. Commoners like todays middle class was 3 down from the top. Then, peasants and slaves were at the two bottom. The peasants were like todays lower-class. They were more homeless though. The slaves were usually from taking over other civilizations. The social class was not different from others in the same time period.
